Step-by-step instructions

Preparation

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
  2. Make sure the skin where you want to apply the menstrual brace is clean, dry and, if necessary, shaved.
  3. Remove the menstrual brace from the packaging.

Applying to the pubic area

  1. Carefully remove the first protective film from the underside of the menstrual brace.
  2. Apply the menstrual brace to the pubic bone, the area just above the pubic hair, and pull it by the tabs until you feel resistance.
  3. Remove the second protective film, place one hand on the lower half of the menstrual brace and gently stretch the menstrual brace from the centre outwards towards the edges, upwards.
  4. Hold the menstrual brace in place for approximately 30 seconds to ensure it adheres properly.

Applying to the lower back

  1. For radiating back pain: remove the protective film.
  2. Place the menstrual brace horizontally on the lower back, at waistband height.
  3. Gently press the menstrual brace from the centre outwards towards the edges.
  4. Hold the menstrual brace in place for approximately 30 seconds here as well for optimal adhesion.

Important tips

  • Apply the menstrual brace to clean, dry skin.
  • Do not use body lotion or oil before applying the menstrual brace.
  • The menstrual brace can be worn for 7 days.
    Remove the menstrual brace carefully by loosening it from the sides.
  • Remove immediately in the event of skin irritation or discomfort.

When should you use the Menstruatie Flex-Brace?

  • Start using it as soon as you feel the first signs of period pain.
  • The menstrual brace can also be applied preventively.

Please note

  • Do not use on damaged or irritated skin.
  • Do not reuse; the menstrual brace is for single use only.
  • In the event of persistent symptoms or extreme pain, consult your GP.
  • Stop using immediately if you feel or see any allergic reactions or skin irritation.
  • Store any unused menstrual braces in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep the menstrual braces out of reach of children.
